Italian Movie Night and Garage Sale

Hello,

 

Last year, students in the Drama Department, under the direction of Prof.
Andy Houston, researched, wrote and performed Differ/end: The Caledonia
Project. The play they created looks at the dispute between land developers
and the Six Nations Reserve over 200-year old land claims in Caledonia,
Ontario. The production had its first run in February 2008 and remounted in
the Kitchener City Hall in June 2008.  Now we have an opportunity to take
Differ/End to an international audience by participating in a cultural
exchange with  <http://www.unical.it/portale/> Università della Calabria in
May 2009. In a fundraising effort to make this exchange possible, you are
invited to the following events:

 

Italian Movie Night

Federico Fellini’s 8 ½ will be shown on Tuesday, February 10 at 7:00 pm in
the Theatre of the Arts. Pay what you can.

 

Garage Sale

We are holding a garage sale on Wednesday, February 25th from 1pm-4pm in the
Theatre of the Arts. Shop for bargains galore!

Have stuff to donate? We will gladly accept your treasures in ML 130A or
from the ML loading dock at the following times:

Friday, February 6 & 13 from 11am-4pm;

Monday, February 9 & 23 from 2pm-4pm;

Wednesday, February 11 from 11am-4pm.
