Update on Fine Arts Visiting Speaker Series

*UPDATE*: Keep an eye on the campus' skies around 3:00 in the afternoon
of Tuesday October 18th. A plane featuring Laurel Woodcock's artwork
"Wish You Were Here" will be circling Waterloo.
Woodcock will also be giving a lecture on Tuesday as part of The
Department of Fine Arts lecture series:
*Laurel Woodcock: Tuesday October 18th, 11:00 a.m., ECH Room 1219 *
Woodcock's work in situational art, video, photography, sculpture and
editions makes use of everyday objects and situations to shed light on
language and perception.
Laurel Woodcock has exhibited widely in Canada, the United States,
France, England, Spain, Egypt and Scotland. She has had solo exhibitions
at the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art,
the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre
and the Agnes Etherington Art Centre. Her work is represented by MKG127
in Toronto and can be found in numerous private and public collections.
