Spiritual! University Choir concert and Instrumental Chamber Ensemble Concert

Hello Waterloo Faculty and Staff,
You may have noticed a recent KW Record article on the benefits of singing in a choir, namely that it improves your mental health and your heart rate.  In that spirit
Conrad Grebel University College has two upcoming concerts this weekend:

1.      SPIRITUAL!  University of Waterloo Choir

Saturday, July 27th, 2013   8:00 p.m.

Cedars Worship Centre

543 Beechwood Drive, Waterloo

$10 regular admission/$5 students, seniors
This program explores music that focuses around the great spirituals, tracing the relationship of the genre from African song and Christian hymnody to the great choral spirituals and beyond to Jazz and Gospel.


2.       Instrumental Chamber Ensembles - Music Students
            Sunday, July 28th, 2013  7:30pm

Conrad Grebel University College Chapel

Free Admission

Reception to follow
Engaging classical music presented by six different chamber groups.
