on the Arts of Greece

Dr. Olga Palagia
Professor of Classical Archaeology
National and Kapodistrian University
(Athens, Greece)
Few individuals from history have captured the imagination quite like Alexander the Great (336-323 B.C.). He is most famous for his vast military success. He is so monumental a figure, however, that he also had a large impact on the development of every aspect of Ancient Greek Culture, including Ancient Greek art. Prof. Palagia will discuss this fascinating topic.
