will read this Thursday (March 12th) at 4:30 pm
in STJ 3014

For Today I Am a Boy is Fu’s provocative debut novel. Its narrative follows the development of Peter, a Chinese boy, who identifies as a girl and wants desperately to become one. Contemplations of the pressures of gender identity abound within the pages of this beautifully written and powerful novel. St. Jerome’s is very pleased to welcome Fu, one of CBC’s 2014 Writers to Watch, as part of its ongoing Canada Council funded Reading Series.
