Greetings.
On Friday, April 8, the Departments of English and Fine Arts, and the Faculty of Engineering, present an exciting double bill of digital art at 44 Gaukel in Downtown Kitchener.
1. Students of Lois Andison and Brandon DeHart's Tech Art course (Fine 392/GenE 499) present "Techsthetic," a collection of interactive artworks resulting from a collaboration between Fine Arts and Engineering.
2. The XDM MA program presents "CODED BODIES," its Annual Exhibition, featuring several digital objects-to-think-with and a guest appearance by local Kwartzlab artist, Bernie Rohde.
The evening of April 8 serves as a closing party for the Tech Art show and as an opening for the XDM exhibition.
This will be a fun, lively, and thought-provoking event. Everyone is welcome.
Friday, April 8, 6-10pm
44 Gaukel Street, Kitchener (home of Critical Media Lab and the XDM Program)
Both exhibitions are also offering walk-in hours:
Techsthetica: Weds. April 6 - Sat. April 9, 12-5
Coded Bodies: Sat. April 9 and Sun. April 10, 12-5
