Dear colleagues,

Please join us this Friday, Feb 3 for an interactive talk on Art and Mathematics.

“Making Math Visible"
George Hart and Elisabeth Heathfield

Our speakers create hands-on construction activities that result in beautiful art objects providing mathematical inspiration in classrooms. Coming from both ends of the educational spectrum — university and primary — they have combined their love of art and math in a way that is accessible to all. They will show examples that illustrate the success of our cross-disciplinary approach. Audience members will learn how to replicate many of these original activities and will make a visually engaging, mathematically rich geometric object to take home.
