Call for Arts Workshops: Canadian High School Student Leadership Conference at Waterloo - September 28

The Canadian Student Leadership Conference <https://studentleadership.ca/> (CSLC) brings together over 1,000 high school students from across Canadian high schools to share ideas, become inspired, and develop their own leadership skills. A more detailed overview is attached for you.


This year, the CSLC is taking place September 26th-30th, with a visit to the University of Waterloo on September 28th. As part of their day, we are looking to set up activities/workshops for the students to attend. These workshops are intended to showcase what Waterloo has to offer, while focusing on the conference theme of innovative spirit and StartUp Leadership, something that aligns very well with what we do at Waterloo.


We are currently accepting proposals for activity/workshop hosts.


·         Each workshop will have approximately 25 students participating

·         There are 4 different session times, with different groups participating at each time

·         The activities will take 45 minutes, with 15 minutes at the end allotted for  questions/discussion.

·         The workshops should focus on the conference theme, and include opportunities for students to challenge their leadership abilities


We are hoping to take advantage of the activities/workshops that you may have already executed in the past, but new ideas are also welcome!

This form will allow us to organize our proposals, as we will have over 25 separate sessions for this day.
