This Saturday's concert is DaCapo's contribution to the marking of Canada's 150th birthday.  All the music is by living Canadian composers, and six of the works are winners or honourable mention works from our annual DaCapo NewWorks competition. On Wednesday May 3rd at 7pm we'll be doing a free concert preview in the beautiful KPL Central Lounge (Queen St., Kitchener).

We'll be talking about our NewWorks competition and singing a few selections from our upcoming concert - including Miigwetch, an honorable mention in last year's competition.  Justin Lapierre is the young composer who wrote the piece (he's a local, from Cambridge, who just graduated high school last year!!) will join us for the evening and we'll be premiering his piece.

We hope you can join us. And bring a friend who's never been to a DaCapo concert before...this could be the perfect introduction!
