KWLT's Blood Relations uses the story of Lizzie Borden to explore the 
gendered dynamics of power. Miss Borden, who was ultimately acquitted of 
the murder of her her parents, never fit into the docile mould expected 
of a 19th-century lady. She refused to shrink while the men in her life 
— particularly her scheming, crooked step-uncle — tried to limit her future.

In today's world, this decades-old play about a century-old event is 
more relevant than ever.

Did she do it? No. Weall did.
