Arts HeForShe Travel Grants for staff, faculty, students - applications due Feb. 15

Dear faculty and staff -and students with whom this message is shared:

Arts HeForShe invites applications from as staff and faculty members, as well as graduate and undergraduate students, for Travel Grants that will support research, experiential learning, and professional development related to gender equity and the goals of the University's HeForShe campaign<https://uwaterloo.ca/heforshe/>.

How to apply:

  *   Send a brief (maximum 1 page) proposal to Jay Dolmage, Arts HeForShe Faculty Advocate, dolmage at uwaterloo.ca<mailto:dolmage at uwaterloo.ca> by Friday, February 15, 2019.
     *   Proposals should include: The conference/workshop/course date, location, and subject
     *   Your proposed activity: will you be presenting your own research? Will you be attending in order to learn more about gender equity or develop leadership skills?
     *   How the activity relates to the gender equity goals of HeForShe<https://uwaterloo.ca/president/heforshe-waterloo>. These goals should be interpreted broadly to include intersectional approaches to gender equity.
     *   Your expected costs (e.g. how much you need to cover travel, registration, etc.).
