The Department of Philosophy is very pleased to host an evening public lecture by Brian F. Rudrick Visiting Scholar Dr. John Corvino, Dean of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College and Professor of Philosophy at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  He is known for combining logical precision with sensitivity and humor to build bridges in the culture wars.
