Dear colleagues,

The Waterloo Women's Wednesdays coordinating committee STILL is looking for a new POST-DOC rep!

W3 is coordinated by a group with members representing staff, faculty, graduate students, and post-docs. The group plans and manages these monthly events, including bringing in guest speakers.

Each committee member takes the lead on one or more events each year, based on their schedule and interests. Here’s what committee members do:

  * Attend committee meetings at least once every other month
  * Chair or take notes at a couple of meetings each year
  * Help identify and arrange guest speakers for monthly events
  * Gather feedback regarding speaker presentations
  * Gather suggestions from campus for speakers
  * Plan and organize events, including arranging space, catering etc.
  * Attend and take part in most W3 events

Learn more about our group here: https://uwaterloo.ca/faculty-association/w3-waterloo-womens-wednesdays

If you're interested, please reply to this email. Please feel free to circulate to your colleagues!

I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometers on each side of the Grand River.
