Dear women-identified and nonbinary colleagues,

We’ve had to move up Registration<https://uwaterloo.ca/events/events/w5-waterloo-women-writing-women>, which will close February 5, THIS WEDNESDAY, for our day-long writing retreat, W5: Waterloo Women Writing with Women on Wednesday February 19 from 9-4 pm. Additional information is in the link above.

Check out this video<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABch4VYOJZ0> that shows the struggle of homeless menstruators and how they often must choose between buying food and buying period products. Help them by bringing $5-$10 worth of donations for the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge chapter of the Period Purse to benefit marginalized menstruators. If you can’t make it out to our event but wish to donate, feel free to reach out to me or to any W3 committee member.

W3 events for 2019-20 are sponsored by the Faculty Association, Staff Association, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, Department of English Language and Literature, Department of Communication Arts, Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies, Department of French Studies, and Office of Research.

Cheers
Kim Hong

I acknowledge that I live, work, and play on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land promised to the Six Nations that includes ten kilometers on each side of the Grand River.
