The Child Online Research Activities Lab (CORAL) studies how children (ages 3-7) perceive the social world, learn new concepts, and how language influences children’s inferences. The studies we run are quite fun for the children, and parents enjoy seeing their kids in new experiences and learning about our research. A typical session involves a 25-minute Zoom video call with our researchers. They will share their screen so the children can play our games and answer our questions. Children get a certificate at the end and a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card! All of our studies have been approved by the University of Waterloo Board of Ethics.
