Sustainable practices in the arts - Feb 3, free workshop

[Arts Communications]

The Department of Communication Arts invites students, faculty and staff to participate in a free workshop on making our theatres and arts institutions more sustainable. The workshop is led by one of Canada's leading figures in the field of eco-design practices - Ian Garrett, Director of the Centre for Sustainable Practices in the Arts.

This Saturday, Feb 3, please join us from 10am to 3pm (lunch provided) at the University of Waterloo, Theatre of the Arts (ML) and discover what you can do to help us transition to a more ecologically inspired future.

You will learn new techniques in design, performance, management and fabrication, and be inspired by leading practices in the industry. Topics will include eco-practices and efficiencies, solution-oriented planning, eco-design, and sustainable roadmapping. Please see attached poster for more info.
