Iowa State University seeks a Tenure Track Assistant
Professor to teach African-American Theatre Production
Styles, Acting and other classes depending on qualifications
and experience. Coordinate and develop the Minority Theatre
Workshop. Opportunity to direct in the main or second stage
season. 25 percent of the successful candidate's appointment
will be in the development of diversity
curriculum/programming for the university and diversity
outreach projects for Iowa communities. The successful
candidate will be expected to maintain an active scholarly
or creative agenda. Terminal degree with emphasis in Acting,
Directing or Minority Dramatic Literature and experience in
the production of minority dramatic literature required.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and
contingent on final funding approval. Position begins August 16,1995.

productions per season and supervise the lighting component
of ISU Theatre's design area. MFA in Lighting Design or
