                              JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
 
Teacher of  Voice and Speech:
 
School of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre and Dance, Professional Theatre
Training Program, University of Wisconsin -Milwaukee. Faculty, 100%, nine
month, starting date August 21, 1995.
 
Principle duties include:
 
Implement and conduct a three year curriculum of appropriate voice and
speech training for carefully selected MFA and BFA acting students.
Additional activities may include directing, teaching related non-major
courses, coaching and acting with the resident professional acting company,
participating in affiliated World Theatre Training Institute, and
administrative tasks.
 
Minimum qualifications:
 
Applicants should have a thorough background and considerable experience
teaching voice and speech for actors. Professional theatre experience is
desired. A commitment to teaching and superior results will be valued more
highly than adherence to any particular method. Actual salary and rank
commensurate with qualifications.
