Looking for texts on cultural materialism

The best place to start would be to read Raymond Williams, whose work has
animated this approach to culture. I suggest beginning with his classic
_Culture and Society 1780-1950_ (Penguin 1963). Others: _Culture_; Drama
>From Ibsen to Brecht_; Television: Technology and Cultural Form_; Marxism
and Literature_; and the indispensible _Keywords: A Vocabulary of Culture
and Society_.
