                The French section of the Department of French and Italian
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison will soon be announcing the
following position for the fall of 2001.

                "Assistant Professor, tenure-track. Specialization in
Twentieth-Century French theatre with experience in drama production.
Additional specialization in Quebec theatre and/or Eighteenth-Century
theatre would be highly desirable. Native or near-native fluency."
