CALL FOR REVIEWS / REVIEWERS

_Theatre Research in Canada_ / _Recherces Théâtrales au Canada_ (TRIC)
invites proposals for items to appear in its "Reviews" Section.
Traditionally, reviews of the following types of works are included:

- works on theatre and drama criticism, theory, and/or history;
- collections of plays;
- individual plays, if accompanied by substantial critical and/or
historical introductions.

The terms 'theatre' and 'drama' may be interpreted broadly to include works
on performance, multimedia, and related alternative forms and practices.
Proposals for distinct approaches (i.e., combined reviews of related texts,
review 'themes,' etc.) will also be considered.

Proposals are invited for the following:

- suggested titles for review;
- expressions of interest from individuals to provide reviews.

Suggestions for books to be reviewed should be accompanied by the following
information:

- full publication information (author's full name, publisher, etc.);
- a brief (2 or 3 sentence) description of the work's significance and
relevance to the journal.

Expressions of interest from individuals who would like to provide full
reviews should include the following information:

- full name of reviewer;
- a brief (one paragraph) bio, indicating relevant professional information
such as academic affiliation (if any), research interests and activity,
practical involvement in the theatre, etc.

Individuals interested in writing reviews may also suggest specific works
which they would like to review.  Please indicate if there are reasons why
the titles requested represent a particularly appropriate assignment.

TRIC publishes articles that employ a full range of critical and historical
approaches applied to the study of theatre as a multidisciplinary art, in
the context of the cultures of Canada and Quebec.
