                             HE SPEAKS:MONOLOGUES FOR MEN

                             compiled, edited and with an introduction by

                             actor/director                 David Ferry







Playwrights Canada Press invites you to submit monologues

for publication in its  latest anthology.



The author of the work may be male or female writing for a male voice.



DEADLINE for SUBMISSION: September 15th, 2005



All Submissions must come from PRODUCED PLAYS and, if published, please
include publisher info and, if unpublished, please indicate where  reading
scripts may be obtained.



Monologues: maximum 2 pages (standard script publication format)



Limit of 2 submissions: (2 monologues )



Monologue MUST have stage directions that set up the work (action, location,
anything pertinent)  and give brief descriptions of the characters.



The play must be CLEARLY identified: Title, Author, Translator (if
applicable), First Production Credits, Publisher

ENSURE THE FOLLOWING:



1.     Include your full name and all addresses on each submission: mailing
fax and email.

2.     Include whether you are a Canadian Citizen, Landed Immigrant or Other
( This is for grant purposes only)

3.     A self addressed, stamped post card if you want acknowledgment of
receipt.





AFTER THE SELECTION PROCESS, WE WILL CONTACT ONLY THE SUBMISSION CANDIDATES
WE HAVE CHOSEN TO INCLUDE IN THE PUBLICZTION.



UNLESS SELF-ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPES ARE ENCLOSED, THE MONOLOUES WILL BE
DESTROYED.
