The Rotary Centre for the Arts in Kelowna B.C. will be hosting an Arts
Educator's Conference August 29-30, 2006. Designed to inspire teachers of
drama, music, visual arts, media and dance at the start of a new school
year, the conference will feature guest speakers and a variety of workshops
in all aspects of Arts Education. We will celebrate the ways in which the
learner and community intertwine and support one another expressively. This
conference is open to all Arts teachers in the Province, and will focus on
Advocacy and Professional Development for Elementary and Secondary School
teachers and Administrators.
