 Prostate Cancer Awareness Month!



As you know, September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month!  No doubt you have been planning some additional activities with your group to help raise awareness this month. We have also planned a variety of events to raise awareness about the disease and the work being done by Prostate Cancer Canada.

We will have social media posts about proclamations and flag raisings from municipalities across Canada officially recognizing Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.  (There is still time to send in your proclamation- please send to Justin Edmonstone at justin.edmonstone@ prostatecancer.ca)

2014 is also PCC’s 20th anniversary. To mark this occasion, we have created a digital timeline that highlights events and milestones in the prostate cancer field for the last 20 years.

Wake Up Call breakfasts are taking place across the country this month, Niagara Falls will be lit blue and PCC will participate in a unique photo opportunity in Wabush, Newfoundland and Labrador.

We’ll be making several exciting announcements so please be sure to visit prostatecancer.ca throughout the month.

Please feel free to send us pictures about any prostate cancer awareness activities that you are doing throughout the month and we will share them for you on social media.
