Greetings,

My name is Chantalle Fuchs and I am an honours psychology student at the
University of Regina. I am conducting a study that requires the opinion of
both cancer survivors and their family members-I am hoping that you can pass
along this email to members of Ontario Prostate Cancer Support Groups.

 

For my honours thesis, I have created a 15 page document that has been
designed to enhance levels of social support between cancer survivors and
their family members. I am completing this project under the supervision of
a leading clinical health psychologist, Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos.

 

At this time, I am seeking cancer survivors AND family members of survivors
to review the document and fill out a questionnaire that evaluates the
resource. We are hoping to determine whether the information is useful and
if it accurately reflects survivors' needs and experiences. The resource and

Anyone in Canada can participate; however, individuals are required to have
completed treatment within the last 5 years. Overall, feedback will help us
assist patients and family members in navigating the period following cancer
treatment and in enhancing well-being.
