[Hopespringpcsg] PROSTATE SUPPORT GROUP MEETING 26 MAY 15

Hi all:

Our next Prostate Support Group meeting will be held at HopeSpring on
Tuesday 26 May 15 @ 1700hrs.

It will be an open discussion meeting.

A topic that has to be addressed will be community involvement by attending
events and using our tent as a publicity tool.

This is one way we reach out to provide PCa awareness, education, & support.

 

The RV show last month required 12 people to cover all shifts, but we only
got 7 volunteers.

This meant some people did double or triple duty shifts.

 

On 14 May 15, we will have the tent at the Graffiti Car Show. 

Ken, Jeff, & I will handle that community event.

 

On 20 & 21 June 15 we are planning to have the tent at the Kitchener
Multi-Cultural Festival.

At the Tuesday meeting we have to have enough members volunteer to man the
tent.

If there are not enough volunteers, we will not go ahead.

 

Your input as to what direction you want the group to take is critical to
its continued functioning.
