Hello Everyone,

You are receiving this email as you are either a leader of a prostate cancer
support group in your province and/or you are listed on Prostate Cancer
Canada’s website as the contact for those seeking support.

With fall right around the corner, Prostate Cancer Canada would like to
share a couple of updates in regards to some new and exciting studies your
group members may be interested in participating in.

The first study originates from the University of Calgary and consists of a
25-minute online survey that aims to identify predictors of sexual distress
and sexual satisfaction in men with prostate cancer or after prostate cancer
treatment. You may share this link to anyone interested in participating:

The second study consists of a 45-minute online survey originating from the
University of Otago in New Zealand that aims to identify factors associated
with sleep problems in prostate cancer patients. The results from this study
could be used by clinicians to improve treatment for patients and partners
who experience sleep problems. You may share this link to anyone interested
in participating: http://j.mp/2tpIHxW

We would also like to let you know that for a limited time all support
groups have the opportunity to order up to 50 copies of a new healthy eating
resource produced by Nourish: Canada’s Nutrition Companion for Oncology
Patients and Caregivers. Eat Well Tips for Men with Prostate Cancer Part 1:
Building meals that work is a 3-part series that contains evidence-based
information and recipes recommended by registered dietitians working in
oncology centres across Canada. This resource provides practical tips on
creating simple and delicious meals that may help manage fatigue and weight
changes associated with prostate cancer.

If you would like to order these FREE pamphlets for your group, please
contact Sasha Frost, Program Assistant, Research, Health Promotion and
