Community Conversations
HopeSpring is holding community conversations about our programs and services. These community conversations are a way for us to share how we can help you and anyone else affected by cancer in our community. This will also be an opportunity for those who have used HopeSpring's programs and services to give valuable feedback about our programs and services.
Are you a Senior?
The Seniors session is on Friday, October 18 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Rockway Community Centre, Multipurpose Room, 1405 King Street East, Kitchener.
Located in Cambridge?
The Cambridge session is on Wednesday, October 23 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Langs Community Centre, Room E106, 1145 Concession Road, Cambridge.

Thank you to theZonta Club of Kitchener-Waterloo for supporting our Wigs and Camisoles boutique. Your contributions directly support women in our community who are losing or lost their hair due to cancer treatment and your contributions ensure women about to undergo a mastectomy have a post-mastectomy to take to the hospital with them. Thank you!

Planting For Hope
We are proud to offer Planting For Hope - a gardening session with Master Gardener Gary. OnSaturday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. join Gary to plant Daffodils at HopeSpring outdoor space. In the spring, watch the Daffodils bloom outside HopeSpring. OnSaturday, October 26, we will be forcing Hyacinths in HopeSpring space. These Hyacinths should bloom in time for Christmas. Look Good Feel Better
This program is offered by the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation. It is a coping skills workshop that helps women manage the appearance-related side-effects of treatment, such as hair loss and changes to skin tone. This program is on Wednesday, October 9 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at HopeSpring. To register, please visitlookgoodfeelbetter.ca and select the HopeSpring location.

Prostate Cancer Canada Network Waterloo-Wellington is holding their Speaker Event on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Grand River Recreation Centre (Lyle Hallman Pool). Are you affected by breast cancer? Tuesday, October 1 - ENCORE at the Guelph Y
You're invited to join a free exercise and educational program designed specifically for women who have had Breast Cancer at any time in their lives. In this supportive environment, women learn skills for life with and beyond cancer. They participate in floor and pool exercises and share their experiences with other women who truly understand.
ENCORE is an eight-week program. Each night we have a speaker and then participate in exercises designed specifically for women with breast cancer. ENCORE runs on Tuesday, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m at the Guelph Y. To register, please visitENCORE.
