Note – below our poster reproduction is the reminder that our next monthly Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting is Tuesday 25 Feb 2020.

For that meeting we will have a 20 minute presentation & a 10 minute Q & A session.

Adrienne Paliyath, Registered Physiotherapist and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, will be discussing the importance of Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation for those undergoing Prostatectomy surgery. 

She will also detail what is involved in a Pelvic Health assessment and treatment session. 

The evidence for Pelvic Health Physiotherapy in this population will be presented as well as general principles of recovery post surgery.

Here is what's happening at HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre this week.

We wish you and yours a very happy Family Day. We are closed today, but re-open for Member Support on Tuesday, February 18 at 9:00 a.m.

Schedule changes:
Monday February 17 is Family Day. HopeSpring is closed today.
Tuesday, February 18 - Yoga for Cancer Recovery is cancelled. This program will return February 25.
Thursday, February 20 - Water Yoga is cancelled. This program will return February 27.
Thursday, February 20 - Ovarian Support Group is cancelled. This program will return March 19. 

We have a few relaxation appointments available in March:
In Waterloo, we have Reiki and Therapeutic Touch appointments available.
In Cambridge, We have Reiki and Reflexology appointments available.

To book either of these types of appointments in March, please call 519-742-4673. 

2019 Tax Receipts Out Now

Tax receipts for 2019 were mailed in January. If you donated with Canada Helps, you should get your receipt from Canada Helps. If you do not get your 2019 tax receipts by the middle of February, please contact us.

The next meeting for PCCN Waterloo - Wellington is Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the Rockway Community Centre in Kitchener at 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. All are welcome, and no registration is required.
