Hi all:

I got this from my niece who in an ER doctor in the GTA.

Take care,

Glen

Friends, this is a critical week. It is crucial that we flatten the curve
NOW, or else Ontario hospitals will drown under a wave of sick patients -
thousands of sick patients, young and old - within a matter of weeks. How
can you help? STAY HOME! And that means - no visits to friends or family, no
unnecessary grocery trips, no visits to the park (human or dog!), no popping
in / dropping by / hanging out. It's as simple as staying home with your
nuclear family. I would say that you should do it for your parents,
grandparents, kids, neighbours, friends... But I'm also asking you to do it
for me. For me and for other essential workers who are trying to keep this
province healthy. I love my job. I don't want it to turn into a hell of
rationing scarce resources, watching patients and colleagues die from this
horrific disease. And I love my life, too. Like every doctor in this
province - I will put it on the line for patient care. But I don't want to
lose it. I have been a physician for 17 years. I have never been scared, but
right now, I'm scared. Stay home and stay healthy, for those of us who don't
have that choice.
