[Ssphrfaculty] Fw: All Campus Alert - Classes cancelled on main campus tonight

[Ian Milligan]

Hi SSPHR,

Hope you're all doing well. Please see below. I don't know anything more than what you're seeing there, but all classes are closed and they are asking that you all avoid academic buildings (ie HH, PAS, ML).

We are fortunate to not have any classes in DWE tomorrow as far as we can tell.

If I learn more I will share.

Stay safe out there and talk soon,

Ian

This is an official safety alert from the University of Waterloo:

Due to the ongoing city sewer backup, we are cancelling classes on main campus tonight (Thursday, September 24) out of an abundance of caution.

Please avoid all academic buildings on main campus. DWE remains closed. Other activities will continue as scheduled and student service buildings (for example, SLC, PAC, CIF) will remain open until further notice.

We will share more information for students affected by the DWE closure on Regroup shortly

We will provide an update on tomorrow’s (Friday) classes by 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.
