passing on the sad news

The saddest news we've had to report in a very long time: the untimely
death 
of actor, playwright and good, good friend Lorena Gale. But Lorena would

have been happy to know about Matt Humphrey, King George Secondary
theatre 
student extraordinaire.  And the many deserving Jessie Award winners
(she 
was one herself once). And some of the excellent shows on in her adopted

second city. 

Vancouver's extended arts family--theatremakers, theatregoers, Lorena's 
many, many friends and fans--will miss her terribly. Our hearts go out
to 
husband John Cooper and son Clay.
