Dear Candrama members,

Please consider nominating your colleagues (or yourselves) for the
Richard Plant Prize, awarded by the Canadian Association for Theatre
Research. The deadline is *Dec. 31, 2011.*

*About the Richard Plant Prize*

Named in honour of the association's co-founder and a prolific
contributor to Canadian theatre scholarship, this award is given to the
best English-language article on a Canadian theatre or performance
topic. The Committee looks for the best article published in the most
recent year (eg. this year's committee will consider all articles
published between Jan. 2011- Dec. 2011) in journals and edited
collections published both inside and outside Canada. Articles published
outside these dates will not be eligible. Journal articles are eligible
and the guideline for considering the eligibility of an essay in an
edited collection or an online entry is the date it was first published
or posted.

Nominations must include a letter of support, but a seconder is not
necessary. CATR members are also encouraged to consider self-nomination.

Nominations for all awards should be sent directly to this year's
coordinator of Scholarly Awards:
