Call for Submissions:

Gender and theatre at the margins


alt.theatre is currently accepting submissions for a special issue planned for spring 2013 that explores issues of gender in theatre at the margins. Possible topics include:
-         The intersection of gender and other planes of marginalization in performing arts practice
-         Feminist performance and cultural diversity
-         Gender/sexuality and performance
-         Masculinity and performance
-         Perspectives from women and trans* practitioners working in alternative theatre
-         Community-engaged art and gender equality activism
