Please join us on April 16th-18th, 2015 for York U's 4th annual Theatre and Performance Studies Graduate Symposium: Performing the Accidental Archive, in association with the Performance Studies (Canada) Speaker Series, Images Festival, Art Gallery of York University (AGYU), York’s School of Art, Media, Performance, and Design, Faculty of Education and Department of Theatre. 

We have an excellent line up of panels, performances and speakers, including participants from across Toronto, Canada and USA.

HIGHLIGHTS:  

Opening performance: Jess Dobkin and Martha Wilson, How Many Performance Artists Does it Take to Change a Lightbulb — Enoch Turner Schoolhouse, 106 Trinity St., 7pm – 11pm April 16 (produced by Images Festival)

Opening Keynote: Ann Cvetkovich, "Accidental Encounters as Archival Practice and Queer Affective Method” — Artscape Youngplace, 180 Shaw St., 9:15AM April 17 

Panels, Workshops and Performances — Artscape Youngplace, 180 Shaw St., 11am – 6pm April 17

Performance Brunch: Jess Dobkin and Martha Wilson, "How Many Performance Artists Does it Take to Eat Brunch" — 230 Richmond St. W.,11am – 1pm April 18

Closing Keynote: Shannon Jackson, “Curating People” — Melody Bar, Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St. W., 3pm April 18
