This afternoon’s Author Event at the Bookstore<https://uwaterloo.ca/history/events/bookstore-author-event-canadian-history> features recent Canadian History publications from UWaterloo Department of History authors: Catherine Briggs’s Modern Canada<http://www.oupcanada.com/catalog/9780195432404.html> (Oxford University Press, 2014), Ian Milligan’s Rebel Youth: 1960s Labour Unrest, Young Workers, and New Leftists in English Canada <http://www.oupcanada.com/catalog/9780195432404.html>  (UBC Press, 2014), and Susan Roy’s work on the c̓əsnaʔəm: the city before the city<http://www.thecitybeforethecity.com/> exhibition currently on underway in three Vancouver venues (UBC’s Museum of Anthropology, the Museum of Vancouver, and the Musqueam First Nation).

Drop by any time between 2:30 and 4:30 for short presentations from the authors, the opportunity to ask them your questions, and enjoy some refreshments!
