It is kind of short notice, but see below for a presentation tonite at the PCCN Toronto Awareness Night.

I recall a couple of our new members were wondering about a focused treatment option. 

It is a bit of a trek from the K-W region to Lawrence & Leslie in Toronto, so allow about 2 hours via the 401.

If any one goes, brief the group at the next monthly meeting.

Treatment options for localized prostate cancer will be briefly highlighted and the rationale for partial gland ablation/removal will be explained.

Dr. Perlis will also discuss who may be eligible for this partial gland ablation and explore what the risks and benefits are of pursuing this option.
