[Ssphrfaculty] Two public talks on AI and society next week (Oct 6 & 8)

[Ian Milligan]

Dear SSPHR colleagues,

Doug Peers, Director of the Global Engagement Seminar, has passed along late-breaking news about two public talks that will be held next week on AI Society. Both are part of the Global Engagement Seminar.

  *
Caroline Running Wolf, "A Painted Pony Called AI" – Tuesday, October 6, 6:30–7:30 p.m.
  *
Dr. Jennifer Boger, "Building for Ourselves: Including Human Aging in the Age of AI" – Thursday, October 8, 7:00–8:00 p.m.

Both talks are in Faculty Hall, 7th Floor, Pearl Sullivan Engineering Building (E7), and are open to all faculty, staff, students, and community members. Full details are in the attached announcement.

A third speaker is being confirmed for later in October and we can pass that along when we have it too.

Thanks all,

Ian
